Euro millions jackpot soars to €130m
28/09/2007 - 07:24:41Tonight’s Euro Millions Superdraw jackpot will hit a massive €130m.
If claimed, the newly crowned multi-millionaire will make Euro Millions history by becoming the largest winner.
Limerick woman Dolores McNamara currently holds this title.
In July 2005 she won €115m.
Since Ireland joined the Euro Millions game in October 2004, more than six million Irish players have won prizes.
On average 50,000 Irish players win a cash prize in the game each week. This is only the second time this year the superdraw has been up for grabs.
On February 9 a lucky Belgian scooped the top prize of €100m.
