Cork gardaí appeal for witnesses to serious assault
19/08/2007 - 15:00:27Gardaí in Cork are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in the city on Friday night.
A man in his 50s was attacked outside a pub in the Mayfield area at around 7pm.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Superintendent Martin Shanahan appealed to anyone who was in the vicinity to come forward.
