Man killed in Co Cork road accident

A 49-year-old man was killed following a one-car collision in County Cork yesterday evening.

It happened on the road between Clondrohid and Ballyvourney at around 6.15pm.

The man - a Polish national - was thrown from his car after it went out of control and crashed into a ditch.
