Two to face court on firearms charges

Two men are to appear in court tomorrow charged with firearms offences after they were stopped in a car near Belfast city centre.

The accused, aged 20 and 34, will appear at Belfast Magistrates Court charged with carrying a firearm with criminal intent and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

They were picked up in Carlisle Circus on Saturday morning and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
