Reports: Govt to buy West-Link toll bridge this week
28/01/2007 - 10:14:31It is reported that the Government's purchase of the Dublin West Link toll bridge will be completed as early as this week.
The deal is costing the State more than €600m.
It will allow the barriers to be lifted on the M50, but motorists will still have to pay in a new system of barrier-free tolling.
The Government says the revenue raised will be put back into the roads programme.
