Directory inquiries company aims for 10% market share

Directory inquiries company Call 11890 has launched an ambitious drive to achieve 10% of the lucrative directory enquires market, estimated to be worth €70m, by 2008.

The company said the target would be underpinned with the offer of free directory enquiries for eircom landline callers for the month of February.

Launched in July 2006, 11890 claim 3% of the total market. Headquartered in Clonshaugh Industrial Estate, Dublin, the company established a second call centre in Galway last October.

Call 11890 employs 70 people.
