AIB fund acquires new Polish property

AIB Capital Markets has announced that its Polonia Property Fund Limited Partnership recently acquired a new warehouse property, Warsaw Distribution Centre (WDC).

The property is a warehouse/office scheme near the expressway to Katowice and Krakow, close to the planned intersection of A2 expressway, Warsaw’s main ring road. The scheme includes five buildings with total rentable area of approximately 33,000 square metres.

The property is currently 91% occupied by 20 companies, which include Apollo Electronics, Raflatac Polska, Universal Express Administration and UPS.

AIG Lincoln performs property management and leasing activities for the scheme.

The Polonia Property Fund is a €400m closed-end property fund. The fund is managed by AIB PPM, a subsidiary of AIB Capital Markets, set up in 2003. Apart from the WDC, the fund has a portfolio of 10 properties, eight in Poland and two in Hungary.
