British tourist coach crashes in France
05/01/2007 - 10:43:37A coach carrying British tourists skidded on a slippery road and crashed into a large rock in the French Alps today , seriously injuring one person, firefighters said.
The accident occurred in the town of Mizoen as the bus, carrying 42 British tourists, was heading to the airport in Grenoble. The seriously injured person was a guide travelling with the group.
Two others had slight injuries, but they were able to continue on with the rest of the passengers.
After the accident, the tourists waited in a local community centre for another coach to take them to the airport.
