DOA: Dead or Alive one to avoid

Decent roles are hard to come by, which explains why Devon Aoki, Jaime Pressly and Holly Valance appear in DOA: Dead or Alive (SPHE, €24.99), another Paul WS Anderson shoot-‘em-up from the world of videogames.

The lovely trio are the floss as they take part in the DOA tournament with the nasty Dr Donovan (Eric Roberts). Need I say more?

Yep, it’s pulp film rather than Pulp Fiction here and you can’t help wishing the end credits would roll by quickly.

The extras hardly help, with just a mundane making-of featurette and short deleted scenes. Avoid.
