We do not have Saddam - Iraqi Justice Ministry
29/12/2006 - 08:27:57An Iraqi Justice Ministry official has denied that Saddam Hussein has been handed over to Iraqi custody and remains in US custody.
Latest reports suggest that the former dictator will not be executed before January 26th.
This recent information contradicts earlier reports from one of Saddam's lawyers that he had been asked to collect his clients personal affects fuelling suspicions that the former president would be executed within the next 48 hours.
