Neville returns for Toffees
29/12/2006 - 16:15:16Everton manager David Moyes welcomes defender Phil Neville back from suspension for tomorrow's Barclays Premiership clash with Newcastle at Goodison Park.
Moyes does not expect any new injuries to contend with although Alan Stubbs will face a late test on the knee problem which forced him out of the Boxing Day draw with Middlesbrough.
The Toffees boss has been forced to be patient with knee injury victim Tim Cahill, but has tentatively targeted a return in next month’s FA Cup third round clash with Blackburn for the Australian.
Provisional squad: Howard, Neville, Yobo, Lescott, Weir, Naysmith, Osman, Carsley, Davies, Arteta, van der Meyde, McFadden, Johnson, Beattie, Vaughan, Wright, Stubbs, Anichebe.
