Kilkenny: Teenage girl's death investigated
27/11/2006 - 07:27:55Gardaí are investigating the suspicious death of a 16-year-old girl in a house in Co Kilkenny.
The father of the victim alerted gardaí at 10am yesterday after he found her body in a room.
The house, which is located outside the village of Gowran, was immediately sealed off pending the arrival of officers from the Garda Technical Bureau.
The Gardaí say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident, but no further details have been disclosed.
“Investigating officers are keeping an open mind and considering all the circumstances of the death,” a garda spokesman said.
