Madonna makes shopping channel appearance
27/11/2006 - 09:16:16Madonna has surprised fans by appearing on a US TV home shopping channel in a bid to turn around the disappointing sales of her latest children's book.
The Material Girl's The English Roses: Too Good to be True had sold just 9,000 copies by November 20 - four weeks after its release on October 24.
Speaking on the Home Shopping Network, Madonna said: "I never would have thought about writing children's books if I didn't have children."
