Lions too much for Hoops

Limerick Lions succeeded in leading Hoops to their first defeat of this year’s Nivea for Men SuperLeague today by beating them 104-97 at home.
It was a good display all round for Lions, who played strong defence and were also clinical in offence.
Hall, Campbell, King, Powell and Harrigan all played well and the Lions seemed a little more hungry for the win than Hoops.
The final scoreline rewarded their efforts.
