Man dies following Co Tipperary car crash

A man in his late 20s has died following a road crash in Co Tipperary yesterday afternoon.

The accident happened near Roscrea at around 3.30pm, when the car in which the 27-year-old was the sole occupant crashed into a tree.

The young man, whose name has not yet been released, was removed to Tullamore General Hospital where he lost his battle for life
