Electoral register deadline extended
21/11/2006 - 17:09:22The deadline for making changes to the electoral register has been extended by a fortnight.
Members of the public will now have until December 9 to submit corrections to their local authority.
Minister Dick Roche initially resisted calls for the deadline to be extended.
But he said today that he’s extending Saturday's deadline because he's received requests for more time from a number of local authorities.
