Leas Cross Action group calls for more accountability
20/11/2006 - 12:27:42The Leas Cross Action group, which represents the victims of the Leas Cross controversy, is calling for accountability for what happened at the north Dublin home.
The group is made up of families of patients who met through a documentary which exposed the scandal.
They said they were mistreated by the HSE during the inquiry, claiming their calls were ignored and their complaints unheard.
The group has said it will fight for a tougher inspection system for nursing homes, so this doesn't happen again.
