Investigation launched into armed supermarket robbery
19/11/2006 - 15:08:07Gardaí in Dublin have appealed for witnesses to an armed supermarket robbery early today in which two members of staff were tied up and threatened.
Two raiders, one armed with a knife and the other believed to have had a gun, made off with a substantial sum of cash from the supermarket on Idrone Avenue in Rathfarnham at about 6am.
The stolen cash was in €5 and €10 notes.
Gardaí have carried out a technical examination.
