Thousands worth of diamonds stolen from Portadown home
17/11/2006 - 07:57:32Police in the North are searching for two thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of loose diamonds from a house in Portadown yesterday evening.
The armed and masked men forced their way into the house at 6pm.
They threatened a couple and their daughter before stealing what the PSNI says was tens of thousands of pounds worth of diamonds and fleeing in the family car.
Any jewellers offered diamonds in suspicious circumstances are being urged to contact detectives investigating the case.
