Teen charged with possession of heroin remanded
A teenager charged with possession of €600,000 worth of heroin and cocaine at his home, has been remanded on bail to await his trial in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
The 17-year-old boy is charged with possessing heroin contrary to section 15 A of the Misuse of Drugs Act at his home on February 12 last. He also faces a charge for possession of a quantity of cocaine for sale of supply on the same date.
He was aged 16 at the time of his arrest.
At the Children’s Court today he was served with the book of evidence in the case and returned for trial to the current term of the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
The boy who was supported in court by his family was remanded on bail on condition that he resided at his home, obeyed a curfew from 9.30pm to 7am and did not apply for a passport.
