Rowling beats cyber-squatters
16/11/2006 - 15:31:00Harry Potter author JK Rowling has battled and beaten Iranian cybersquatters who set up a website claiming to be her own.
The owners of site JKRowling.ir - known only as Hostine.bet - alleged theirs is "JK Rowling's official site".
The British writer took legal action and domain name lawyers ruled in her favour, passing the site over to Rowling.
