Two schoolgirls and driver injured in Clare bus crash

Two teenage girls and a school bus driver were injured after their bus crashed into a truck in county Clare this afternoon.

The accident happened at around 2.30pm at Lissycasey on the main Ennis to Kilrush road.

The Bus Eireann coach had just completed one school run, and was about to begin another when it crashed.

The girls and driver were taken to hospital where they were said to be in a stable condition.
