Teen found with €600,000 drugs stash remanded
A teenager charged with possession of €600,000 worth of heroin and cocaine at his home, has been remanded in custody.
The 17-year-old boy is charged with possessing heroin contrary to section 15 A of the Misuse of Drugs Act at his home on February 12 last. He also faces a charge for possession of a quantity of cocaine for sale of supply on the same date.
He was aged 16 at the time of his arrest.
The boy appeared in the Children’s Court today to be served with the book of evidence in the case which is to be heard in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge Catherine Murphy remanded the teen in custody after hearing the boy had broken bail conditions set down by the court previously.
Earlier he had been granted bail on condition that he obeyed a curfew between the hours of 10pm and 5am and signed on daily at his local garda station.
