BT to invest €500m in all-Ireland communications network
09/11/2006 - 13:35:07The telecoms firm BT has announced plans to invest €500m in developing a new communications network across the island of Ireland over the next five years.
The company claims the move will revolutionise communications with a network of fixed, mobile, voice, data, video and broadband services for domestic and business customers.
It says the new infrastructure will be the most advanced in the world and will give consumers better choice and flexibility.
