Aer Arann axes daily flights between Shannon and Dublin

09/11/2006 - 10:42:21
Aer Arann has announced the withdrawal of its daily flight between Shannon and Dublin due to a lack of interest in the service.

The move represents the second time that the service has been axed.

Local Fine Gael TD Pat Breen says it is a major blow to the Shannon region and is calling on Ryanair to replace the Aer Arann service.
