Ridgewell back for Villa
07/11/2006 - 16:02:37Aston Villa central defender Liam Ridgewell has recovered from illness for tomorrow’s Carling Cup fourth round clash at Chelsea.
Ridgewell was ruled out of Sunday’s 2-0 home win over Blackburn when his replacement Martin Laursen turned in an impressive performance.
Laursen believes he is now fit enough to be considered for all matches after initially being eased back into action after his long-term knee problems.
Villa boss Martin O’Neill has to decide whether to include Chris Sutton after his fine display against Blackburn following groin surgery or to instead recall Milan Baros.
