Patrick Kavanagh scored a stoppage time winner tonight as UCD completed a hat-trick of wins over Sligo, whose manager Sean Connor confirmed before the game that he had resigned.
In a dour game, right winger Kavanagh thankfully struck two minutes into added time to provide some on the field talking point.
Chasing down a loose backpass, Kavanagh won the ball in a challenge with keeper Richard Brush before tapping home.
