Rourke changes wild ways
03/11/2006 - 10:11:27Hollywood wildman Mickey Rourke claims he has mellowed with age and now only uses physical violence as a last resort.
The 50-year-old insists he now asks questions first and no longer jumps in with his fists.
Rourke says: "The other day, there's some drunk guy giving me s**t in a restaurant.
"So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and I said to the waitress, 'I want you to watch this. If he touches me, I'm going to knock him right the f**k out.' And they got rid of him.
"Whereas in the old days I would have just punched him in the mouth.
"He was being really rude and obnoxious, but I'm now able to evaluate and see what the consequences are."
