Robson to meet FAI boss to discuss future in Ireland role

Bobby Robson is due to meet with Ireland manager Steve Staunton and FAI boss John Delaney today to discuss his future role with Ireland.

Robson was appointed as a consultant to Staunton when the Dundalk man took over as manager earlier this year.

However, he has since suffered a string of health scares and has undergone surgery to remove a brain tumour.

Despite the setbacks, he says he has been told he is fit to resume his footballing duties.
