Robson to meet FAI boss to discuss future in Ireland role
17/10/2006 - 09:27:00Bobby Robson is due to meet with Ireland manager Steve Staunton and FAI boss John Delaney today to discuss his future role with Ireland.
Robson was appointed as a consultant to Staunton when the Dundalk man took over as manager earlier this year.
However, he has since suffered a string of health scares and has undergone surgery to remove a brain tumour.
Despite the setbacks, he says he has been told he is fit to resume his footballing duties.
