Shels to appeal decision
29/09/2006 - 10:17:52Shelbourne are to appeal against the eircom League’s decision not to award them the three points from their clash with Bohemians.
Bohemians are to be deducted three points for fielding a suspended player, Jason McGuinness, in the match against Shelbourne which they won 2-1.
However, Shels appeal for the points to be awarded to them instead – in line with a UEFA precedent – was rejected by the eircom League.
