Students protest against axing of Irish classes in Tallaght
29/09/2006 - 07:57:36Protests are due to be held at Tallaght Institute of Technology in Dublin today after the college decided to axe its Irish language courses.
Students who took Irish classes at the college last year no longer have the option to continue their studies.
The Union of Students of Ireland will hold a demonstration in Tallaght this morning demanding that Irish is re-instated.
