Elton supports Houston divorce
28/09/2006 - 07:52:40Elton John has heaped praise on Whitney Houston for finally ditching her "no good" husband Bobby Brown.
The singer insists Houston's marriage was over long ago, and was delighted when she announced plans to divorce Brown earlier this month after 14 years of marriage.
In an Access Hollywood interview to air on Friday he says: "Bobby's not good for her, and because of the addiction thing, she keeps going back. The writing was on the wall many, many years ago with that one."
It seems the Rocket Man singer isn't alone with his opinion. A recent poll by American magazine In Touch found 95% of those questioned believed the soul superstar is better off without Brown.
