Warren is hot shot
27/09/2006 - 16:03:00Scot Marc Warren’s approach to the final hole of the EnterCard Scandinavian Masters in Sweden has been voted the European Tour’s RBS Shot of the Month for August.
The 25-year-old needed to birdie the last to catch leader Robert Karlsson and force a play-off.
After pulling his drive into the trees, Warren cut a seven-iron to six feet, holed the putt and went on to take the title.
In second place was Henrik Stenson’s five-iron approach to the 18th green in the play-off for the BMW International Open in Munich, and third was Retief Goosen for his four-iron on the same hole for eagle and a place in the play-off.
