Elderly woman tied up during robbery at Carlow farmhouse
20/09/2006 - 12:55:30Gardaí in Carlow are investigating an overnight robbery in which an elderly woman was tied up by a gang of five masked men.
The men entered the 65-year-old woman's farmhouse in Brown's Hill shortly after 8pm before tying up both her and her 42-year-old son.
They later fled with a small amount of money.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
