Farrell in line for war film role
20/09/2006 - 11:30:20Colin Farrell is being viewed as the possible star of a film on the life of the only Northern Ireland man to win the Victoria Cross during World War II.
Several Hollywood studios are considering the exciting story of James Magennis, who won the medal along with his CO, Ian Fraser, during a daring midget submarine attack on the Japanese in the Straits of Jahore in 1954.
