Irwin memorial sells out
16/09/2006 - 22:15:59All 3,000 tickets to Steve Irwin's memorial service at Australia Zoo have been snapped up by fans in just 15 minutes.
The naturalist was killed last week when a stingray barb stabbed him in the chest as he dived off the Great Barrier Reef near Cairns in Australia, while filming a new TV show.
Irwin will be remembered by fans at a service that will be televised at the Queensland zoo's Crocoseum next Wednesday.
Grieving fans camped for days outside three locations to gain tickets.
