Bray’s misery continued as they dropped to the bottom of the Premier Division table after their eighth defeat on the spin.
Wanderers were in trouble as early as three minutes when they found themselves a goal down.
Dave Mooney put Alan Kirby in from the right and the midfielder, one-on-one with Gary Rogers, slipped the ball past the home keeper.
Bray, with six changes from the defeat in Waterford, hit back with Andrei Georgescu twice coming close before Paul Caffrey shot against the crossbar.
Longford killed off Bray's challenge on 59 minutes when David Freeman picked out Mooney who shot home.
