Sinn Féin meets for autumn think-in
The health service, the North's peace talks and the economy will today top the agenda of Sinn Féin's autumn think-in.
The one-day meeting of the party’s TDs, MPs, MLAs and MEPs in Dublin will also be attended by candidates for next year’s general election.
Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams and Dáil leader Caoimhghin O Caolain will outline policy priorities for the months ahead.
“Among the key items to be discussed will be the crisis in the health service, the upcoming peace talks and the economy,” a party spokesman said.
The meeting will also be updated on the roll-out of the party’s voter registration campaign.
The event, in Howth’s Deerpark Hotel, will be hosted by the party’s Dublin North East candidate Larry O’Toole.
Fine Gael, Labour and the Progressive Democrats will hold their autumn meetings in coming weeks, before the Dáil returns on September 27.
