Sponsorship boost for racing owners

Members of the UK Racehorse Owners Association have been given a major boost with the renewal by totesport of a sponsorship deal covering 1,000 horses.

There are four sponsorship schemes worth £150,000 (€223,000) and covering 250 horses each for the next year, starting today.

Each scheme offers a payment to owners for the sponsorship of their colours for a 12-month period and there is an additional one-off payment if a horse runs in a Class A Race during the year.
