Garda Commissioner to give reaction to Morris reports
01/09/2006 - 09:45:21The Garda Commissioner is to give his first public reaction today to the revelations contained in the latest Morris Tribunal reports.
Noel Conroy is cutting his summer holiday short to address the fallout, including controversy over the resignation of Detective Sergeant John White from the Gardaí.
The Tribunal implicated Det Sgt White in the planting of a gun at a Travellers camp as well as a hoax explosive device at a telecommunications mast. Detective Sergeant White was acquitted of those offences in two criminal prosecutions.
