Taoiseach: New regulatory system needed for Dublin buses
01/09/2006 - 13:54:32The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has said that a new regulatory system is needed for all Dublin bus services.
Mr Ahern denies there is a rift between Fianna Fáil and the PDs over the privatisation of some bus routes.
A planned strike by bus drivers was averted earlier this week when Minister for Transport Martin Cullen agreed to provide extra vehicles for Dublin Bus.
The Taoiseach said Minister Cullen has completed proposals to reform the sector and is due to present them to government.
