Keane intent on 'putting things right' against Germany
31/08/2006 - 09:36:46The Ireland squad will resume training in Dublin today ahead of Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Germany in Stuttgart.
Several players sat out training yesterday with minor knocks, but all are set to take part this morning.
Team captain Robbie Keane is set to lead the side out for the first time in a competitive fixture this weekend.
He said yesterday that Ireland were determined to make up for their recent 4-0 defeat to Holland at Lansdowne Road.
"I'm looking forward to putting things right from the last game," he said.
"It's well documented that we didn’t play as well as we'd like to, but hopefully the younger lads can take something out of that and hopefully it will help them in the future."
