Stevie Wonder to perform at Hurricane concert
29/08/2006 - 16:29:28Stevie Wonder is to perform at a New Orleans concert to mark one year since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf coast of the US.
The Motown star will be joined by local musicians at the 'New Orleans: Rebuilding The Soul of America' concert.
The show will benefit a trust set up to rebuild the cultural infrastructure of the Louisiana city.
A film about the hurricane, narrated by Meryl Streep, will also open today.
'Hurricane on the Bayou' is set to open around the world in December.
