Body found in canal feared to be missing Clare woman
27/08/2006 - 12:53:40The body of a 54-year-old woman has been recovered from a canal in Co Clare this morning.
It was discovered between Clonlara village and Barry Cross at around 11am and taken to Limerick Regional Hospital for a post mortem.
It is feared the body is that of missing Clare woman Colette Connolly.
She has been missing since yesterday afternoon and was last seen walking along the main Limerick to Broadford road.
