Antrim home petrol-bombed
A woman escaped injury when her home was targeted in a petrol bomb attack in the North early today.
Police are trying to establish a motive for the attack in the Parklands area of Ballymena, Co Antrim at around 3.45am.
A device was thrown, causing scorch damage to an outside wall.
Another petrol bomb is believed to have destroyed a car which was parked in the driveway.
Detectives appealed to anyone with information which could help their investigation to come forward.
Meanwhile police in north Belfast were today investigating an incident where a number of windows were smashed in a house in the Ligoneil area.
The attack occurred at the back of a house in Weaver’s Hill Walk at around 5.45am.
A car with a number of people inside was seen leaving the area around the time of the attack.
However police have yet to establish if the people inside were involved in the attack.
