Name change on cards for Bank of Scotland branches

Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has announced the re-branding of its retail banking business to Halifax.

The bank says all of its branches in Ireland will become Halifax branches by December of this year.

Announcing the move today, it also said it was on target to attract 40,000 new customers during its first year in operation.
