Increase in new private cars licensed
24/08/2006 - 13:31:34There were 14,905 new private cars licensed in July 2006, compared with 14,142 in July 2005, an increase of 5.4%.
First licensing of second-hand private cars increased by 1,090 (31.9%) on the same month last year.
The number of new goods vehicles licensed was 3,522 in July 2006, compared with 3,270 in the corresponding month last year, an increase of 7.7%.
