Villa agree sale of Berson
23/08/2006 - 12:24:44Aston Villa have reached agreement with Levante for the sale of French midfielder Mathieu Berson, according to the Spanish side.
The 26-year-old has joined the Primera Liga club on a three-year deal.
Berson signed for Villa in a protracted deal from Nantes in the summer of 2004, and had to wait until December that year to make his league debut against Liverpool.
He spent the whole of last season on loan with French side Auxerre.
