PSNI officers rescue woman from burning house
23/08/2006 - 12:39:01Police in the North have rescued a woman in her 30s from a burning house in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
The Fire Service was called to the scene at around 4am, but police officers were first on the scene and forced entry to the house before helping the woman escape the flames.
She was later hospitalised suffering from the effects of severe smoke inhalation.
Two police officers were also treated for breathing smoke, but were able to resume work.
The fire is thought to have started accidentally.
