Redknapp has doubts over O’Neil, Todorov
22/08/2006 - 14:27:56Striker Svetoslav Todorov (knee) and midfielder Gary O’Neil (thigh) are “minor doubts” for Portsmouth’s Barclays Premiership match at Manchester City tomorrow night but manager Harry Redknapp is expected to name the same team which beat Blackburn 3-0 on Saturday.
Todorov scored Pompey’s opening goal and although new signing Kanu added two more the Nigerian has had less than two weeks pre-season training and could figure again as a substitute.
Assistant manager Tony Adams said: “We are taking no chances with Toddy or Gary but we are hopeful both will be available.”
